Florida Walk-In Tub Dealers & Bath Installation
The 2024 American Community Survey gives Florida housing a median construction year of 1990. A newer home still needs a measured fit check: the walk-in tub’s door swing, seat position and access route can matter more than the size of the existing bathtub. Compare a standard replacement with wider or outward-opening models only after checking available clearance.
About 30% of Florida housing units are in buildings with two or more units. Where plumbing, walls or access are shared, clarify who approves alterations and who restores adjoining finishes. For a detached home, use that same written scope to distinguish included work from additional charges.
Florida Walk-In Tub Prices
Published 2026 industry estimates put a basic installed walk-in tub around $3,000–$10,000, a jetted model around $6,000–$13,000 and more elaborate packages around $9,000–$17,000 or more. These are broad national planning ranges, not a local dealer price. Difficult access, electrical work, a larger water heater or extensive bathroom repair can take a project outside them.
Request a written total for removal, the new tub, plumbing, electrical connections, disposal and finished surfaces. Compare basic soaking with air-jet and water-jet models in our walk-in tub price guide. A lower equipment price can be overtaken by excluded installation work.

Ask walk-in tub dealers about the brands they sell, installation inclusions and who handles local warranty service. Compare the step-in height, seat dimensions, handholds and door operation with the person who will use the bath. Standard door-equipped tubs usually require sitting inside while the tub fills and drains. Ask about measured drain time and hot-water demand for the selected model; comfort jets do not establish a medical benefit.
